Hi! I'm Gail.

I live in Baldwinsville, New York, with my wife, Jen, and our two sons. I received my high school diploma from Jamesville-Dewitt High School and graduated from Empire State College with a degree in Social Theory, Social Structure & Change, with a concentration in Leadership.

I wear a lot of hats and have a wide variety of work experience. I've lived on two continents and worked several jobs in different fields, including language, education, management, and massage therapy. As an English as a Second Language teacher, I taught abroad and came home to teach refugees in Syracuse. Helping people has always been a core value and interest in my life and the purpose that made me decide to run for office.

I constantly strive to better the communities I live in and the country I love. I've been involved with several community organizations, including CNY National Organization for Women (NOW), Catholic Charities, Kindred Hearts Animal Rescue, and Duck Race to End Racism. When I saw, again and again, how our community here in the 120th was consistently passed over and left behind for the resources and opportunities we need to succeed, I knew I had to do more.

Our district is one of the poorest in the state, with health and employment crises that are unacceptable in a state as wealthy as ours. Many of our neighbors live without access to reliable broadband services, or even electricity. Under our current representation, we aren't getting the support we deserve. We aren't getting the chance to succeed.

Our current leader, Will Barclay, has held his office for nearly two decades. In that time, we have not seen any improvement in our circumstances. We deserve a change. We deserve a seat at the table. It's time for a leader who understands what it means to be a part of our community, who will go to Albany to fight on our behalf, and who will have the voice in the majority to get things done.
